In my minds eye I visualize how a particular … sight and feeling will appear on a print. If it excites me there is a good chance it will make a good photograph. It is an intuitive sense an ability that comes from a lot of practice.
When you find yourself beginning to feel a bond between yourself and the people you photograph when you laugh and cry with their laughter and tears you will know you are on the right track.
I just think its important to be direct and honest with people about why youre photographing them and what youre doing. After all you are taking some of their soul.
