We are met today in a general conference. Sometimes I hear the people feel some of them that perhaps we are not quite as peppy as we ought to be. But this is not a Church convention. This is a general conference where we meet for general counsel and advice. It is a place to which we come for the results of the reflective operations of our minds.
Whenever two men meet there are really six people present. There is each man as he sees himself each man was the other sees him and each man as he really is.
A meeting moves at the speed of the slowest mind in the room. (In other words all but one participant will be bored all but one mind underused.)

When the outcome of a meeting is to have another meeting it has been a lousy meeting.
